Electric bikes

Use of e-bikes and e-scooters is increasing, but the batteries can be a hazard if not used or maintained properly.

The government has recently launched the Buy Safe, Be Safe campaign and provides good advice on buying and maintaining e-bikes and e-scooters:

E-bikes and e-scooters stored in communal areas of Waverley Borough Council-owned flats will be removed. This is to maintain safe escape routes.
