Contact the council in British Sign Language

If you are a British Sign Language (BSL) user, you can use the SignLive BSL interpreter to contact us during our usual opening hours.

Protecting your property

Sandbags can be purchased at builders' merchants and sandbag alternatives, such as Floodsax, can be purchased online.

Residents and business owners are responsible for protecting their properties and should make plans in advance of a flood. 

We will provide sandbags to vulnerable residents and our tenants (a person is considered to be vulnerable if they are unable to help themselves).
