Local Services & Information

How can we help you today?

Transparency and open data

We publish key information so you can see how public money is spent and how decisions are made. This supports open government, helps build trust and reduces the need for Freedom of Information (FOI) requests.

Our transparency and open data pages bring together the information we routinely publish, including spending, contracts, senior salaries, land and property, and other frequently requested datasets.

Data and record retention

We collect different types of information so we can provide services to our communities and local businesses. Some of this information, along with anything we produce from it, must be kept as part of our official records. This is either because the law requires it or because we need it for our work.
