Citizens Advice offer a range of free, impartial and confidential advice.

They offer help with crisis support, debt relief and fuel poverty.

Breathing Space Gives temporary protection from most types of debt collection. Anyone with debt problems can get support and space from creditors and if you are receiving mental health crisis treatment you can get even more protection. Visit: Debt support - Surrey County Council (surreycc.gov.uk) 

MoneyHelper joins up money and pensions guidance to assist people in finding the right help by bringing together the support and services of three government-backed financial guidance providers: the Money Advice Service, the Pensions Advisory Service and Pension Wise. 3 Counties Money Advice is a group of business professionals and fully trained advisers from local churches who provide free and confidential debt and benefit advice. They work together to give impartial advice and assistance on a variety of money related issues and operate in partnership with Frontline Debt Advice (UK), a charity that has offices across the South of England. To see how they might be able to assist you visit: FREE debt, benefits & money advice from 3 Counties Money Advice (3cmahaslemere.com) 

The Money Advice Trust is a national charity, helping people across the UK to tackle their debts and manage their money. Their National Debtline offers free, independent and confidential advice on personal debt over the phone and online via webchat: Money Advice Trust | Money Advice Trust 

Turn2Us is a national charity providing practical help to people who are struggling financially.  

They have a handy Benefits Calculator which will tell you which means-tested benefits you may be entitled to, including tax credits and a Grants Search to help you look for funds that might be able to offer you a grant or other types of help. Turn2Us do not offer advice on individual situations but they do offer a service to Find an Adviser
