Active travel - could you walk or cycle?

Waverley has an abundance of parks and greenspaces to enjoy at your leisure, but have you also thought of maybe swapping your car for a bicycle or walking to work or local shops if it is not too far?

The promotion of Active Travel is a key theme in our Climate Action Plan and we are working with Surrey County Council to reduce the volume of traffic on our roads and to deliver a new greenway network connecting main towns across the borough by 2030.

Working with Surrey County Council, town and parish councils and local active travel groups, Local Cycle and Walking Infrastructure Plans (LCWIPs) are currently being progressed for Farnham and Waverley.
