Secure Email

We are committed to protecting personal data. Sometimes this information needs to be shared between the Council, partner agencies, organisations, residents or council tenants.

If the situation means that we need to send this information in a secure manner, we do this using an encrypted email and file transfer service provided by Egress Software Technologies.

To read an encrypted email from us, you will first need to sign up for a free Egress account.

The process is straightforward and only needs to be done once. You can then read and reply to any encrypted message we send you , making sure communication between us is secure.
