Election of a Town Councillor

for the Town Ward listed:

1. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Council Offices, the Burys, Godalming, Surrey GU7 1HR between the hours of 10am and 4pm by appointment only, on any working day from Wednesday 22 October until 4pm on Wednesday 29 October 2025.
2. Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Council Offices, The Burys, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 1HR, during the times stated above.
3.  If the election is contested the poll will take place on Tuesday, 25 November 2025.
4.  Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Friday 7 November 2025. 
5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Council Offices, The Burys, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 1HR by 5 pm on Monday, 10 November 2025. 
6. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Monday, 17 November 2025. 
7.  New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Council Offices, The Burys, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 1HR by 5 pm on Monday, 17 November 2025. 
8. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Council Offices, The Burys, Godalming, Surrey GU7 1HR by 5pm on Tuesday 25 November 2025.
