Waverley Key Workers offered free electric vehicle charging during Coronavirus

Waverley Borough Council’s electric vehicle charging supplier GeniePoint is offering Key Workers with electric cars the opportunity to use their charging points for free during the Coronavirus pandemic.

At present, there are six electric charging points across Waverley - a double point in Crown Court, Godalming, a double point at the High Street, Haslemere and a double point at Stocklunds Square, Cranleigh.

From 16 April 2020, the GeniePoint network is free to use for Key Workers involved in:

  • Health & Social Care
  • Education & Childcare
  • Key public services
  • Local & national government
  • Food & other necessary goods distribution
  • Public safety & national security
  • Transport
  • Utilities, communication & financial services

Waverley Key Workers who would like to register should email: geniepointsupport@engie.com giving details of their GeniePoint Network account including registered name, registered email address and Key Worker role.
