Tree safety work at Woolmer Hill Estate playground

Published Friday, 27 January 2017

Work to the wooded area around Woolmer Hill Estate playground in Haslemere will start on 27 February to improve tree safety and provide better growing conditions for other trees.

We will remove approximately 23 trees.  The Forestry Commission has granted a felling licence for this.  We will also carry out some tree surgery work at the same time.

The green outline on the map below shows the extent of the working area.

From 27 February 2017 until the work is completed (one to two weeks), please don't park in areas marked 1 and 2 on weekdays between 9am and 5pm.  We need these areas to remove the timber.

Cars parked here during this time will be left at their owner’s risk and neither Waverley Borough Council nor its contractors will accept any liability for damage.

Please contact the Tree Officers on 01483 523444 or email parks& if you have any queries.
