About Waverley Training Services

Waverley Training Services (WTS) is a dedicated department of Waverley Borough Council. Founded in 1981, we have been delivering work-based learning qualifications, including apprenticeships, functional skills and employability skills, across Surrey and the borders of Hampshire, Berkshire and Sussex for over four decades. We work with the Department for Education (DfE) to get funding for the qualifications we deliver, however we also offer privately-funded training if required. We do not subcontract any of our training programme.

WTS are an approved Apprenticeship Training Provider, listed as a main provider on the Department for Education’s Apprenticeship Provider and Assessment Register (APAR).

Our Matrix accreditation demonstrates our commitment to motivating each and every learner and encouraging them to achieve their full potential through providing accurate information, advice and guidance.

We are pleased to share that in our last Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills (OFSTED) inspection, we were awarded 'Good' across all aspects of the framework.
