Have your say on play area refurbishments

As part of ongoing improvements to recreational facilities for children and young people in the borough, three more play areas across Farnham, Hascombe and Farncombe are being refurbished and the council are looking for your views.

The consultations aim to find out what residents think of the current facilities at Hascombe Play Area, Longbourne Green, Farncombe and The Baldreys, Farnham and what they would like to see from a future play area in these locations.

All three consultations close on the 12 August at 5pm.

Waverley Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Environment and Sustainability, Councillor Steve Williams, said:

“Our last consultations gave us valuable feedback as to what people wanted from the play areas in the borough and were instrumental in the design.  We are now looking to fully refurbish three more play areas and are asking those who use them to please get involved by completing the short survey so we can make sure that they are fit for purpose for families in the borough.”
