Free expert business support funded by Waverley Borough Council

A comprehensive package of support is being offered to businesses in Waverley for free by business development specialists, IncuHive Group, thanks to funding from Waverley Borough Council.

Waverley has funded the provision of a business support service for many years and the contract has recently been retendered which provided the opportunity for IncuHive to take over provision of the service.

Councillor Liz Townsend, Waverley Borough Council's Portfolio Holder for Economic Development, said: “The team at IncuHive are experts in helping independent companies and start-ups transform into profitable, successful businesses. They have masses of experience in providing training, advice and mentoring on all aspects of running a business. Waverley’s funding enables local businesses - whether established or emerging ones - to access IncuHive’s expertise to help strengthen their business.”

The support package, which is designed to help businesses grow, increase their turnover, improve efficiency, or to help potential businesses get off the ground includes a tailored business health check, ongoing one-to-one guidance, and practical support to turn expert advice into an achievable action plan.

Andy Pringle from IncuHive says: “We would like to hear from new and established businesses who need a helping hand or help reassessing how they operate. We have been helping businesses to thrive since 2015 and have expertise in every aspect of running a business, from marketing, through to finance and accounting, finding funding plus business planning and strategy.”

Waverley Borough Council is engaging with IncuHive as the local economy recovers from the impact of COVID-19 and small businesses respond to challenges including changing consumer habits.

“We are a business incubation and co-working organisation and everyone in our team has a background in start-up businesses and small and medium sized enterprises,” says Andy Pringle from IncuHive.

IncuHive is encouraging businesses to get in touch direct if they think the support package could help them: email Andy Pringle at IncuHive at or 07817 065694 or visit

Additional business support is available from Waverley’s Economic Development Team. To keep up to date with the latest opportunities, businesses can email to receive a regular enewsletter or visit for a wide range of useful information about being a business in Waverley.
