Bulky waste collections

How to dispose of bulky waste

If you need to dispose of large household items that are too big for your bin, your can dispose of them by:

  • Donating to a reuse charity, such as the Furniture Helpline. Locally a number of charities work together as part of a reuse network. Furniture helpline can also do house clearances if requested, their number is 01420 489000.
  • Taking it to your local Community Recycling Centre (council 'dump' or 'tip').
  • Paying for our special collection service for bulky household items.
  • If it is an electrical item, eeecycle, a local company provide a low cost service to take away and recycle household electrical items including fridges and freezers. Call 01256 357351.

We do not offer a Trade Waste Collection. Visit the Surrey Waste Partnership website to find out how your business can recycle or contact a private company that offers this service.
