David Lloyd Farnham complimentary membership scheme

What is the David Lloyd complimentary membership scheme?

Waverley's leisure team and David Lloyd Farnham work in partnership to allocate a small number of complimentary memberships each year for talented athletes. 

We ask applicants to provide as much information as possible (sporting statistics, figures, rankings, standings, tournament and/or match participation evidence, letters on headed paper from sporting national governing body etc).

All applications will go to a panel and the successful applicants will be notified before the end of the year. Successful applicants' memberships will be live from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026.

Thank you to everyone who applied for a membership this year and congratulations to the successful winners. The David Lloyd Membership scheme will return again for 2026/27.

How to apply

Please complete the application form with as much detail as possible. If you have any questions about the application process, please email: leisure@waverley.gov.uk.

Application form for 2026/27 applications will be available in December 2026.

  • The membership is to cover the gym, pool, racquets and classes that are age appropriate
  • The membership does not include free towels, use of the spa or guest passes
  • Minimum age of 14 required to apply
  • A lifeguard must be on duty for any under 16 year old swimming
  • Gym use: Children aged 14-17 can use the gym unsupervised, after the completion of David Lloyd's gym Start Up course
  • Waverley leisure team monitor usage of awarded memberships and reserve the right to withdraw awarded memberships if they are not being used regularly (at least twice a week).
