Skate Waverley

What is Skate Waverley?

Skate Waverley offers the free opportunity for young people to be coached by the pros, watch demonstrations and show off their new tricks.

A selection of safety equipment and skateboards will be provided free for use on the day (you are allowed to bring your own skateboard if you want to).
Those under 16 must have written consent from a parent or guardian.

Workshop levels

Beginner

Perfect for children trying skateboarding for the first time or with little experience, so that they can learn the basic skills of riding, as well as a few fun tricks and activities.

Mixed ability

For someone who is already comfortable with the basics of skateboarding such as pushing, turning, balancing and pivoting and would like to develop their skills with anything from dropping-in to shuv-its to ollies and more.

2025 Workshops

Thank you to everyone who attended one of our six workshops across Godalming, Farnham and Haslemere in August this year. A great mix of beginners and children returning from workshops last year. Thank you to the skate instructors at King Ramps for another great year of workshops.
