Petitions

We welcome petitions from anyone who lives, works or studies in Waverley, or uses our services. Petitions are a way for you to raise issues or concerns and have your voice heard on matters that affect your local community.

Signing an e-petition

You can view and sign current petitions on our e-petitions web page on the ModGov website. To sign a petition, you’ll need to register, it only takes a moment.

Creating a petition

If you want to raise an issue or share your views on council matters, you can submit a petition by post or online. Anyone who lives, works, or studies in Waverley can take part. Check our petition guide to see how it works and what happens next.

Creating an e-petition

You can create an e-petition that gives your issue greater visibility and makes it easier to get support.

You can submit a petition in both formats, in a paper version and an online version to reach more people. However, duplicate signatures should be removed by the lead petitioner before submission.
