Waverley Affordable Homes Delivery Strategy 2025-28

Waverley Borough Council has launched a public consultation to help shape its new Affordable Homes Delivery Strategy for 2025-28, Healthy Homes, which will guide the delivery of affordable homes over the next three years.

The draft strategy sets out a clear ambition to deliver high-quality, affordable and energy-efficient homes that are accessible to local people and reflect the diverse needs of residents. It also highlights how affordable housing delivery can contribute to a stronger local economy, more sustainable communities, and improved wellbeing across the borough.

The consultation invites feedback on three core objectives:

  1. A healthy supply of decent and affordable homes
  2. Healthy communities, healthy environments
  3. A healthy economy, a more prosperous borough

Feedback gathered through the consultation will help ensure that future housing development is appropriate for the area and aligned with local demand. This is a key opportunity to influence how affordable housing is planned, prioritised and delivered across Waverley.

The consultation is now open, and closes on Monday 21 July 2025. The council encourages all those connected to the borough to share their views. Feedback is invaluable in helping deliver better results for Waverley’s communities.
