Susan Mooney, James Spring and Robin Amy received Resuscitation Certificates from the Royal Humane Society presented to them by the Mayor of Waverley, Councillor Denise Le Gal.

The Resuscitation Certificates were presented at the Waverley Borough Council offices on Tuesday evening (11 December 2018).

On 4 June 2018, the 1st Milford Scout Troop was at Godalming Bowling Club, when a passing jogger asked for help from any first aiders as she had found an unconscious lady nearby. Scout leader Susan Mooney, along with two members of the bowls club, James Spring and Robin Amy immediately ran to give assistance and found a lady collapsed and unresponsive on the ground in the park.

The three, assisted by the jogger, took it in turns to perform lifesaving CPR on the lady in question for around 15 minutes until the first responder and ambulance arrived.

The lady in question spent a period of time in hospital and has since been discharged.
