Waverley's offices will close for the Easter weekend at 5.15pm on Thursday 2 April and reopen at 8.45am on Tuesday 7 April. 

Bin collections  

Refuse, recycling, food waste and garden waste collections take place as normal on Good Friday (3 April) and Easter Monday (6 April).

Careline service   

The Careline monitoring centre will remain open 24/7 throughout the Easter period, but Waverley Borough Council will be closed. For full details, please visit our Careline service page.

Housing Benefit payments  

Housing Benefit payments due on Monday 6 April will be paid early on Thursday 2 April.

Emergency repairs for tenants: If you are a Waverley housing tenant, the emergency housing repairs page provides contact information. 

An emergency would include a blocked drain, total loss of electric power, no heating or hot water, damage to a ground floor door or window leaving a home insecure, severe leak or a smell of gas. Do not report an emergency via email or online.
