Check your bin collection day

Enter your postcode only and click Continue, then choose your address from the list. The tool will show upcoming collection dates for each service that applies to your property.

What the checker covers

• Recycling collections
• Rubbish (domestic waste) collections
• Food waste collections
• Garden waste collections (for subscribed properties only)

Christmas and New Year changes

Collections change over Christmas and New Year. Biffa will collect your bins, but on different days, except for garden waste where this is a break over the festive period.

Christmas trees

We no longer offer drop off points to recycle your Christmas tree. If you have a real Christmas tree you can either plant it to use next year, if it has roots, or recycle your Christmas tree at your local recycling centre or tip or donate to your local charity. If you have a Garden Waste Collection Service subscription, you can put your real Christmas tree out with your other garden waste on a collection date before the end of January.

Collection calendars

Rubbish and garden waste follow week one or week two schedules depending on your area. Use your next collection date to select the right calendar.

How to find your week schedule?

To find your collection week, check your collection day online and identify if it’s a black bin, recycling or garden waste week. Then, you can download the collection calendars to keep a copy.
