Change your personal details

If you have moved, or changed your name or other personal details, we need to know.

Residents

• Council Tax (address change): let us know if you move into, out of, or within Waverley borough.
• Council Tax (details change): we need to know if you change your name, your property use or the number of people in your household.
• Housing benefits and/or council tax support: if something changes that could affect your benefits, we need to know.
• Electoral register: tell us if you move or change your details.
• Garden waste:
  • If you move into Waverley you can start a new garden waste subscription.
  • If you move out of Waverley you can cancel your garden waste subscription.
  • If you move within Waverley, you can contact us to transfer your garden waste subscription to your new address. Please make sure you take your bin with you to your new home, otherwise, you will have to pay for a new bin.

Bereavement

The Tell Us Once service lets you report a death to most government organisations in one go.

Landlords

• Council Tax: you must tell us when tenants move into or out of a property.

Businesses

• Business rates: if your business moves into, out of, or within Waverley, we need to know. You must also tell us if you cease trading.
