Permission refused

If your application is refused, we advise you speak to your planning case officer, as you may be able to change your proposal and resubmit.

An amended scheme could avoid an unnecessary appeal, saving you time and money.

Planning appeals

Only the applicant can appeal against the refusal of planning permission within six months of the decision, 12 weeks for householder proposals or 8 weeks for advertisements. The appeal is made to the Planning Inspectorate.
