From 13 May 2021, our pre-application service is suspended for up to 3 months.
This is due to a significant increase in the number of planning applications received and the need to clear work backlogs.
Any new pre-applications submitted to us will be returned and the fee refunded until such time as we are able to maintain advertised service levels.
If you have recently submitted a pre-application enquiry
If you have recently submitted a pre-application enquiry but have not yet received an acknowledgement, a member of the team will contact you to ask whether you would like to progress your enquiry or withdraw it and receive a refund of the fee paid. If you do wish to progress your enquiry, please be aware that we are experiencing significant delays and it will be some weeks before you receive a response.
If you are waiting for a response to an existing enquiry
For any customers who are waiting for a response to existing enquiries, please be assured that we are working through these as quickly as possible and we are grateful for your patience.
