Digital permits

We are introducing digital parking permits in Waverley.

From 2 April 2024, all car park permits are now digital. To purchase a digital permit, visit the MiPermit site:

Apply or renew a car park permit online

If you have a permit that expired on 31 March, this will remain valid for the next few days whilst you do this.

What is a digital permit?

All the information relating to the permit is held against the registration of a vehicle.

Digital permits enable customers to purchase and manage their parking permits online, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

While MiPermit is an online digital system, we will assist users who are unable to access the internet.

Why have we made this change?

The new digital system has a number of benefits, including:

  • Providing 24/7 access to manage permits online via a secure account
  • Permits can be purchased any time of the month.
  • No longer any paper permits, removing the risk of loss or theft
  • Reducing our impact on the environment

It is important to us that we deliver a service which reflects customers’ needs and takes advantage of the latest technology, and the changes reflect feedback we have received.

You can find out more about how digital permits work on the MiPermit website.
