The Friday/Saturday Night Project

The Friday/Saturday Night Project provides a weekly youth club based within the local leisure centre. The project gives young people access to a range of activities for an affordable price.

Waverley Borough Council in partnership with Active Surrey, Cranleigh Parish Council and Cranleigh Leisure Centre (managed by Everyone Active) run the Cranleigh Friday Night Project (FNP). Based at Cranleigh Leisure Centre from 5pm to 7.30pm every Friday, the project provides 11 to 18 year olds with the following activities.  

  • Gym (only with a completed, signed induction) 
  • Squash 
  • x3 Exercise classes run by an instructor 
  • Table tennis  
  • Pool table 
  • Virtual spin classes  
  • The café also opens for longer, allowing access to refreshments with a variety of vending machines available.  

There is an admission fee of £4.00 or £2.00 for those with a Waverley Borough Council Access to Leisure Card.

An exciting activity-based club for young people, ‘The Friday Night Project’ gives young people the chance to get together with friends and take part in a range of activities.

Date: Every Friday

Time: 5:30pm to 7:30pm

Location: Farnham Leisure Centre

Ages: 11-18 years old

Cost: £4 (£2 with a Waverley Access to Leisure Card)

Activities: Table Tennis, Football, Basketball, Badminton, Gym and Virtual Spin classes (Activity programme varies throughout the year).
