Acupuncture, tattooing and skin piercing registration

Your businesses and premises must be registered with us if you carry out any of the following:

  • tattooing
  • electrolysis
  • ear piercing
  • acupuncture

Each business (each self-employed person or each employee) and each premises must be registered.

You will also need to comply with the relevant bylaws. Please email environmentalhealth@waverley.gov.uk or call 01483 523393 to request a copy of the bylaws.

Fees

There is a one-off fee for each registration application.

Tattooing

  • Per premises - £264.70
  • Per person - £264.70
  • Combined (premises and personal licence) - £379.30

Ear Piercing, Acupunture and Electrolysis

  • Per premises - £241.10
  • Per person - £241.10
  • Combined (premises and personal licence) - £350.40
