Council services support

Waverley's offices will close for the August bank holiday weekend at 4.45pm on Friday 28 August and reopen at 8.45am on Tuesday 1 September. 

Bin collections  

Refuse, recycling, food waste and garden waste collections take place as normal on bank holiday Monday 31 August.

Housing Benefit payments  

Housing Benefit payments due on Monday 31 August will be paid early on Friday 28 August.

Emergency repairs for tenants: If you are a Waverley housing tenant, the emergency housing repairs page provides contact information. 

An emergency would include a blocked drain, total loss of electric power, no heating or hot water, damage to a ground floor door or window leaving a home insecure, severe leak or a smell of gas. Do not report an emergency via email or online.
