Cranleigh Common is registered common land of approx. 16 hectares. The site comprises of a few key features including, formals areas of grassland enclosed by mature Maple trees, a war memorial, Cricket Green, open grassland and woodland. Management principles have been developed to protect and conserve Cranleigh Common.

Cranleigh in Bloom

The council supports Cranleigh in Bloom and their applications for awards such as South and South East in Bloom. Cranleigh in Bloom is a voluntary community organisation with the goal of promoting civic pride, encouraging people to get involved in their community and bringing together various groups of people.

They are looking for volunteers to coordinate projects, help with planting, water troughs or beds, do some occasional weeding or join working parties throughout the year.

No experience or knowledge of gardening is required; just lots of enthusiasm and a passion for the community.
