Notice of intended disposal of open place land

Notice pursuant to Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended)

Notice is hereby given that The Borough Council of Waverley ("The Council") intends to dispose of its interest in land (by way of transfer) that includes an area of open space land at the rear of 83-89 The Chantrys, Farnham, GU9 7AQ.  

A plan showing the area to be included in the disposal can be inspected during regular opening hours at The Burys, Godalming. 

A copy of this Notice and the above-mentioned plans are available at: Planning and building | Services | Waverley Borough Council

This is a formal notice given insofar as the above parcel of land consists or forms part of an open space within the meaning of the above Section, being used for the purposes of public recreation.

Any objections to the intended disposals must be made in writing and addressed to Rochelle Tapping, The Borough Solicitor, The Burys, Godalming, Surrey GU7 1HR  or by email to legal.admin@waverley.gov.uk bearing the address above by no later than 3rd May 2024.

All objections received will then be considered by the appropriate officers/members of the Council.
