Garden Waste Collection Service

Enjoy easy, reliable garden waste collections from your home

Our Garden Waste Collection Service offers a convenient way to dispose of grass cuttings, leaves, small branches and other green waste. If you live in Waverley, you can subscribe and have your garden waste collected every two weeks from your home.

How the service works

  • Fortnightly collections from your home (25 throughout the year).
  • A 240-litre brown bin provided as part of your subscription.
  • Collections run year‑round, except for a short break over Christmas.
  • Your bin must be placed at the edge of your property by 6am on collection day.

What it costs

Your subscription includes a one‑off bin loan fee and an annual service charge.

  • Annual service charge: £87.60
  • Bin fee (one off payment if you need a bin): £49.10
  • Total: £136.70 per bin (includes a £49.10 one‑off bin loan fee)

You can add more than one bin if needed. Each bin requires its own subscription.

What you can put in your garden waste bin

  • Grass cuttings
  • Leaves
  • Hedge trimmings
  • Small branches and twigs
  • Flowers, plants and fallen fruit

Not accepted:

  • soil or turf
  • stones or rubble

Keeping the bin free of non‑garden waste helps ensure your collection is not missed.
