Planning Applications 2000-2004
Applications made between 2000-2004 with links to the online planning register where you can view decisions and relevant documents.
General Constraints
Article 4 Directions
Removal of certain Permitted Development rights. You can order copies of Article 4 Directions from our Land charges team.
Conservation Area
An area of special architectural interest, the character or appearance of which is desirable to preserve or enhance.
Legal Agreement
Where a development or land owner has entered into a legal agreement relating to a Planning Permission. You can order copies of Legal Agreements from our Land charges team.
Habitat
Ramsar
Conservation of wetland habitats and associated wildlife.
SAC
Special Area of Conservation.
SNCI
Sites of Nature Conservation Importance identified by the Local Authority.
SPA
Areas which have been identified as being of international importance for the breeding, feeding, wintering or the migration of rare and vulnerable species of birds.
SSSI
Site of Special Scientific Interest.
Local Plan Policies
Area specific Local Plan policies.
Historic environment
Archaeological Feature
A feature that may hold evidence of past human activity worthy of investigation.
Listed Buildings
Buildings of special architectural or historical interest.
Buildings of Local Merit
Buildings that have been identified as a local asset.
Ancient Woodland
Generally understood to be an area continuously wooded since at least 1600.
TPO - Tree Preservation Order
Order identifying specific tree or group of trees as being of high amenity value which cannot be felled or pruned without consent of the Local Planning Authority.
Other constraints
ASCA
Areas (mostly rural) within which display of advertisements is more stringently controlled.
AQMA
Air Quality Management Area
Potentially Contaminated Land
Due to history of the site or other local knowledge elevated levels of contaminants are suspected.
