Sports councils

There are three local sports councils that support the development of local clubs and promote sports across Waverley. Activities include: 

  • Organising local sporting events
  • Running a sports award evening rewarding the hard work, dedication and excellence through sport in the local community
  • Help with funding athletes.

Cranleigh does not currently have a sports council. If you are interested in forming a voluntary organisation to promote and develop sport in the local community, please contact the Leisure team via email at leisure@waverley.gov.uk
