What is the Waverley Access to Leisure card?

The Waverley Access to Leisure card offers eligible residents discounts on many leisure centre activities throughout the borough. Successful applicants are granted one year’s 50% discounted membership.

Waverley Access to Leisure cards must be shown every time applicants attend the leisure centre - discounted access will not be permitted without it.

What discounts are available?

The Waverley Access to Leisure card provides a 50% discount across all leisure centre activities including swim, gym, classes, court hire, children’s activities (soft play and active play & bounce) and Forever Active classes.

Am I eligible for a Waverley Access to Leisure card?

You are eligible to apply for an Access to Leisure card if you live in Waverley and receive one of the following:

• Attendance Allowance
• Carer’s Allowance/Action for Carers Surrey
• Disability Living Allowance
• Personal Independence Payment
• Pension Credit (Guarantee credit)
• Universal Credit (Housing Benefits or Council Tax Support)

Or if you are:

• A full-time student, aged 16-19 years with a current identification card
• A student nurse
• A member of the Armed Forces
• A registered carer
• A member of the Dementia Action Alliance

Where can I use the Waverley Access to Leisure card?

The card can be used at the following leisure centres:

• Cranleigh Leisure Centre
• Farnham Leisure Centre
• Godalming Leisure Centre
• Haslemere Leisure Centre

Please complete the application form and take it in person to any of our leisure centres. Also bring with you:

1. Proof of residence
2. Proof of eligibility (Notice of Award letter from Authority or student identification card)
3. Passport photo

A member of staff will issue you with a membership card. 

To obtain a discount you must show your Access to Leisure card each time you visit a leisure centre.

Terms and conditions

1. Waverley Borough Council (WBC) and Everyone Active operate the leisure discount scheme. All terms and conditions are at the discretion of the council.
2. The council reserves the right to amend any aspect of the scheme as circumstances require.
3. The ‘Waverley Access to Leisure card’ must be produced on every visit to a leisure centre. Without the card, you will not be entitled to any discount.
4. All cards remain the property of the council.
5. If you apply for a card when you are not entitled to it, you could be subject to legal action.
6. Continued qualifications for the scheme will be reviewed on a quarterly basis. If your circumstances change and you are no longer eligible for the card you must inform WBC and stop using it immediately. Your data will be deleted within two months of WBC being informed. If you go on using the card when you know you are not entitled to do so, you could be subject to legal action.
7. If your card is lost or stolen, WBC will charge £5 to provide you with a replacement and you will need to provide another photograph.
