Walking football

Aimed at but not limited to over 50s, those who have mobility issues or are recovering from injury. Walking Football offers an opportunity to get back into the game.

Waverley Borough Council have teamed up with Farnham Town Football Club to provide walking football sessions open to those aged 45+. All the information for these sessions can be found on the Farnham Town Football Club website with the core information below.

When: Wednesdays 7:30 to 8:30pm

Where: Weydon School, Weydon Lane, Farnham, GU9 8UG

Cost: £6 per session (first session is free) plus £10 annual membership

Notes

  • Sessions take place on floodlit sand-based artificial surface, suitable for turf type training footwear.
  • All ages are welcome although at the present time Godalming Walking Football Club only runs teams at 50+ and 60+ age groups for competitions, festivals, leagues etc. New starters are always welcome to try out a session or two to see if it suits their capabilities and level of fitness.

Waverley have teamed up with Dynamo Walkers FC for walking football.

There will be a maximum of 16 players on the pitch and the cost will be £7.00 per session.
