Elections on Thursday 6 May 2021

On Thursday 6 May 2021, registered electors in Waverley will be going to the polls to vote in the Surrey County Council and Police and Crime Commissioner elections. Electors who live in the Parish of Witley will also be voting in the Witley Neighbourhood Planning Referendum.

Elections on Thursday 6 May will take place at a time when Covid-19 continues to present risks to public health. We are working hard with the Government, Electoral Commission, other elections professionals across the country and public health authorities to help ensure you stay as safe as possible and secure when casting your vote.

When attending the polling station we ask you to abide by the public health measures by wearing a face covering (unless you are subject to an exemption). We will offer a face mask to anyone who enters the polling station without one.

We have asked all polling places to conduct additional cleaning of venues pre- and post-poll in line with risk assessments and any contractual requirements for each venue.
