Community Meals Service

Fresh meals direct to your door

The Community Meals Service is run by independent, local charitable organisations and is for people who need help to make sure they regularly have nutritious cooked meals.

You can book for a few weeks or sign up for as long as you want, it's up to you.

How does it work?

The centres provide a hot, freshly cooked and healthy meal with optional afternoon tea five days a week. Clients are able to request frozen meals for weekends and bank holidays. Specialist diabetic and vegetarian options are also available.

Meals are delivered ready to eat between 12 and 2pm, on weekdays. It is difficult to give exact delivery times but, generally, volunteer drivers will be with you around the same time every day and will make sure you're okay before they leave.
