Transport and getting around the borough

Waverley covers the areas of Cranleigh, Godalming, Farnham and Haslemere as well as several smaller villages.

There are train stations in Godalming, Farnham and Haslemere.

Local bus routes are covered by Stagecoach and Compass Travel (Cranleigh area).

Surrey County Council has worked with bus operators in Surrey, including Stagecoach and Compass Travel, to set up a scheme offering Ukrainian nationals a bus pass to give them free travel on their most used bus route. The temporary bus passes are valid for three months from issue to help Ukrainians newly arrived in Surrey on the Homes for Ukraine scheme, to get around.

To apply for a three-month bus pass, visit Surrey County Council's website and complete the application form.

If you are over 65 you can apply for a free bus pass. The application can be made online or by appointment at your local library. For more information on this scheme, visit Surrey County Council’s website page.
