Waverley pays tribute to Councillor Andrew Law

Waverley Borough Council has paid tribute to Councillor Andrew Law, who passed away this week.

As a mark of respect, the flag at The Burys was flown at half-mast on Thursday, 18 January 2024.

Councillor Penny Rivers, the Mayor of Waverley, said: “Councillor Law was elected as ward councillor for Witley and Milford in 2023, and, even in this relatively short time representing Waverley residents, he showed dedication and commitment and will be greatly missed.

“He will be greatly missed by colleagues as well as those he represented.

"All our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very sad time.”
