Latest Business Support Barometer published

Waverley Borough Council has released its latest Business Support Barometer, providing a snapshot of the types of businesses that received support through its partnership with IncuHive between January and July 2025.   You can view the report by clicking on Business Support Barometer.

The data highlights the range of local enterprises benefiting from tailored advice and guidance, delivered by IncuHive - a specialist organisation in small business development. The council funds IncuHive to offer free support to businesses across the borough, including help with business planning, access to finance, and mentoring.

Cllr Liz Townsend, Portfolio Holder for Regeneration and Economic Development, said:

'I am thrilled to see so many local businesses taking advantage of IncuHive’s support over the past six months. Thanks to funding from Waverley Borough Council, residents have access to free guidance - whether it’s advice on marketing, access to finance, or simply building the confidence to bring a business idea to life. This invaluable support is available to anyone in the community looking to turn their entrepreneurial ideas into reality'.

IncuHive advisors are experienced business owners themselves, offering practical support in areas such as marketing, investment, procurement, and bid writing.

Businesses interested in accessing support can contact IncuHive directly via support@incuhive.co.uk or by calling 0800 689 3564.

Additional support is also available through Waverley Borough Council’s Economic Development Team. Businesses can stay informed about upcoming opportunities and resources by subscribing to the council’s business newsletter by emailing business.support@waverley.gov.uk or visiting our Business Waverley website page Get support & advice.
