Council Housing tenants target of new scam

Waverley Borough Council housing tenants have been the target of a new scam this week, with several households reporting phone calls of a similar nature.

The caller claims to be from a company who has been given money by the government to carry out work in council and housing association houses for issues like mould. 

Waverley Borough Council residents should report any calls of this nature or that seem suspicious to:
