Due to contractual issues with the supplier of the pay by phone service, provided in all Waverley owned car parks, the service has been withdrawn.

Cllr Kevin Deanus, Portfolio Holder for Operational Services said:

“In order to protect the interests of our customers and the interests of the council we have taken the decision to stop providing the service as the issues have not been resolved.

Waverley has contacted all subscribers to advise them that the service is no longer available and to pay for their parking using the machines provided.

The ability to pay for parking by phone is popular with our customers and we will be looking to provide a telephone payment facility as soon as possible.”

Already paid today?

If you have already paid for today’s ticket through the phone paying service, your payment will still be valid. Please make alternative paying arrangements in future.


Does this affect the smartphone app?

Yes it does.  The app won't work for Waverley car parks anymore.
