Please note that a number of improvements to Broadwater Park are about to start as part of the council’s commitment to improving the facilities in this award-winning park.
Play area refurbishment
The toddler section in the children’s play area at the park will soon be undergoing a £34,000 refurbishment following a public consultation and vote. The chosen design by Wicksteed Play includes a rainbow room, play tower and new cradle seat swings. You can view the winning design online.
The play area is due to close for approximately one month from 2 November whilst works take place.
During this time the public toilets at the park will also be closing for renovation. The existing facilities will close on the 2 November for 14 weeks to allow for a full refurbishment. The next nearest toilets are at Godalming Leisure Centre.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused to users during these works.
