At around 8am today (Wednesday 19 July), Waverley Borough Council was informed of two new traveller incursions in Farnham.

This morning, officers attended Dogflud Car Park, where there are around 11 caravans, and Weybourne Recreation Ground.

Once necessary checks have taken place, toilets and bins will be provided to keep the sites as clear as possible.

Earlier this week, Waverley served summons on two separate traveller incursions in Farnham Park and Heath End Recreation Ground.

The incursion on Heath End Recreation Ground has now left the site.

The court hearing scheduled for 2pm today at Guildford Magistrates Court in relation to the Farnham Park incursion will still take place.

Once the incursions leave, the council will arrange clear up operations at each site.
