Reduced business rates for another year
Small businesses in Waverley can take advantage of the Government’s Small Business Rate Relief scheme until the end of March 2013.

The increased eligibility thresholds have been extended for a further year.
The following allowances are available until end of March 2013. Rateable value of:
- £6000 or less will receive 100% rate relief
- between £6,001 and £12,000 will receive tapered relief of between 100% and 0%
- between £12,001 and £18,000 - no change but will continue to benefit from the small business rate relief multiplier used to calculate the rates payable giving the supplement as the discount.

If you are already claiming Small Business Rate Relief, you do not need to re-apply.
