We are proposing the Shepherd and Flock Roundabout (Farnham) to be designated as a Conservation Area (CA) and have produced a draft Conservation Area Appraisal (CAA) for you to comment on. The consultation will run for six weeks between Friday 2 October 2020 and Friday 13 November 2020.
Virtual Public Meeting
A virtual public meeting will be held for the community to ask questions and comment on the Appraisal on Monday 02 November 2020 at 7pm. If you have any difficulties signing up at the link below, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01483 523429. Details of how to sign on will be sent to all ticket holders by 5pm on the day of the event via the email provided on your ticket.
If you signed up via Eventbrite for the original postponed event that was scheduled for 19 October, please do not get a new ticket. Your original ticket will still be valid for the new date and we will contact you on 2 November with details of how to sign on to the webinar using the email you provided previously.
A Conservation Area Appraisal identifies and explains the character of the proposed CA. It also contains a management plan section which sets out specific actions or projects aimed at preserving and enhancing the proposed CA as well as managing change in the future.

What happens next?
We will review responses when the consultation has ended and use them to help inform the decision to designate and shape the final document.
If designated, the CA will be a material consideration and the CAA used in the determination of any application for planning permission and listed building consent within the CA. It would also be used to prioritise environmental improvement projects within the CA.
