Waverley councillors and officers joined contractors on June 14, to mark the start of work on Site D at Ockford Ridge Godalming.

This is part of a £7M regeneration programme, building new homes and refurbishing existing properties. W. Stirland will construct sixteen new homes for rent, including six 1 bed flats, four 2 bed flats, two 2 bed houses, two 3 bed houses and two 4 bed houses.

The Mayor of Waverley, Councillor Simon Inchbald, was there to cut the turf at the official start on site.
