Shepherd and Flock Conservation Area Appraisal

We have undertaken a Conservation Area Appraisal (CAA) for the Shepherd and Flock Roundabout in Farnham and produced a draft CAA for you to comment on. The consultation ran for six weeks between Friday 2 October 2020 and Friday 13 November 2020. We are now considering the responses received which will help shape the final document.

A Conservation Area Appraisal identifies and explains the character of the proposed CA. It also contains a management plan section which sets out specific actions or projects aimed at preserving and enhancing the proposed CA as well as managing change in the future.

What happens next?

We will review responses when the consultation has ended and use them to help inform the decision to designate and shape the final document.

If designated, the CA will be a material consideration and the CAA used in the determination of any application for planning permission and listed building consent within the CA. It would also be used to prioritise environmental improvement projects within the CA.
