What is neighbourhood planning?

Neighbourhood planning gives local communities a way to decide the future of the places where they live and work. Local people can have more say in where new houses, businesses, shops and community facilities should go and allocate sites for development.

In Waverley

The Farnham Neighbourhood Plan has passed referendum and forms part of Waverley's development plan.

There will be a referendum on the Godalming and Farncombe Neighbourhood Plan on 9 July 2019.

There are 11 other designated neighbourhood plan areas.
