Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)
From 1 March 2019, some developments will need to pay the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL).
A CIL Additional Information Requirement Form (Form 0) will be requested to validate all applications for:

- lawful development certificates.
This applies from these dates:
- 9 November 2018 for applications subject to an Environmental Impact Assessment
- 30 November 2018 for major planning applications

Where an outline application is granted prior to 1 March 2019 but reserved matters are approved after this date, CIL will not be payable. However, the submission of Form 0 will be required to confirm this. See CIL overview for more information.
