Pay by direct debit

Direct debit is the simplest method of payment. It will save you time and is the most convenient and cost effective way of making regular payments.  

Direct debit payments are taken directly from your bank account.  You will be advised at least 10 working days in advance of any changes to your instalments so you can remain in complete control of your bank account.  

You can make payments for the following services by direct debit:  

Council Tax

The easiest way to pay your Council Tax is by direct debit. 

Pay Council Tax online

You normally pay in 10 monthly instalments, from April to January each year. 

Want to pay in 12 instalments instead?

You can now pay by 12 instalments instead of 10. Please call us on 01483 523500 if you want to request this.

Business Rates

The easiest way to pay business rates is through direct debit.

If the bank account requires two authorising signatures please complete the NNDR direct debit form and send it back to us. The address is included in the form.
